For one week starting from Monday, May 19th, Rengo Co., Ltd. held an exhibition event with the theme “Protecting the marine environment with paper technology.” At the venue, craft-colored dolphins swam among seaweed made from cardboard, drawing visitors into the world of the sea. A short movie about a cardboard character traveling in search of a companion was shown on a large monitor in the venue, showcasing how paper technology is used on land, sea, and air. Wall panels conveyed Rengo Co., Ltd.’s sustainable efforts, such as research into raw materials that reduce environmental impact and recycling systems. Other exhibits included a photo booth where visitors could take photos with cardboard characters, and a gift of original pin badges in paper capsules, making it an experiential exhibition week that could be enjoyed by children and adults alike.
